How to Fix Wifi Issues on Asus 531GD

Wifi Problems with the Asus Strix 531GD? Do you keep getting prompted for changes on your device manager for the Intel Wireless AC 9560 Adapter?

Here’s a quick guide on how to fix the wifi issues on your ASUS Strix 531GD with the Intel Wireless AC 9560 Adapter.

The Error Message:
The Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware-related problems

So you woke up after an update an suddenly loss wifi. You check your available networks and it appears that your driver is corrupt or missing.

Download this file that I got directly from ASUS. All you need is to unzip the file and run the software and this will automatically update your driver and you will be able to see available networks.

Unzip or extract the file in to a new folder.

Run as admin.

Things I tried that did not work:

• Enable Disable WIFI through device manager
• Rollback Driver
• Uninstall then reinstall driver automatically or manually from Microsoft suggestions
• System Restore
• Going to Google and looking for Intel AC 9560 driver (first two pages of SERPs did not help, I downloaded 15 different drivers from websites that topped the results and none worked.)

Issue is also know for DELL Laptops using the same wifi card.
